Ben Tobler Founder/Owner Optional Team Coach
I have been involved in gymnastics my entire life and started coaching in 2003. You name it, I've coached it: preschool, girls, boys, Special Olympics, MAGA, high school and J.O. team. As a coach, it is my goal to develop quality, high-level gymnasts. I have produced multiple individual and team State Champions, Regional Champions, and National Qualifiers.
Kristin Tobler Founder/Owner Optional Team Head Coach
I have been involved in gymnastics since I started taking classes at age 5. Throughout my 23 years in the sport, I have experienced it through many different perspectives all the way from participating in my first beginner class to becoming a 2-year team captain with the University of Minnesota. I have coached every level from preschool to college and am also a NAWGJ-certified judge. For the past five consecutive years, I have coached athletes to the State, Regional and National Championships. During this time, I have produced both State and Regional individual champions. My love and passion for the sport drive me to be my best every day. As a coach, I strive to train high-level athletes who share the same determination and desire for excellence as I do. More than that, I enjoy being a part of the development of motivated, successful, strong young women. I truly believe that gymnastics prepares you for life after sport and it is that notion that allows me to lead these athletes with true conviction each and every day.
Emily Stigall Compulsory Team Head Coach
I started my love for gymnastics in 1992 and have been coaching for 15 years. I love my job for many reasons, including: the special bond we form as a family, the look of newfound confidence in a gymnast, the smiles I receive from an athlete when they get a new skill or overcome an obstacle, being able to help a gymnast through frustrations, having supportive parents, developing trust and respect with each athlete and the feeling of being part of an amazing coaching team. I strive to produce happy, proud and successful gymnasts. I have successfully had at least two state champions every year and can't wait to help more girls achieve their goals.
Erika Whelan Compulsory Team Coach
I have been coaching for a total of 14 years. I have coached every level from Preschool through J.O. Level 9 but have been coaching my passion, J.O. Compulsory Levels 3-5, for 12 years now. I get joy and satisfaction from helping gymnasts learn new skills and watching them mentally grow through the sport.
Dusti Thorn Office Manager Preschool Coach
I grew up doing gymnastics in Oshkosh, WI and competed on the University of Minnesota Women's Gymnastics Team from 2010-2014. After graduation I became USAG certified and coached in Wisconsin for two years, doing preschool, J.O. Compulsory and Optional Level gymnastics training. After getting married last year, my husband and I moved to St. Michael and I am looking forward to helping gymnasts in the surrounding area! I love sharing the passion I have for this sport as well as helping promote confidence in young athletes in and out of the gym.
